Aku is an ancient evil that traveled the galaxy thousands of years ago. The evil that he manifested from, was attacked and seemingly destroyed by the three dieties, Odin, Ra, and Vishnu, one last piece of the darkness crashed to earth. He was unintentionaly relieced by Samurai Jack's father and was free to unleash his evil on the Earth. But eventually he was defeated by Jack's father and imprisoned in a large dead tree. But many years later, a solar eclipse freed Aku from his prison. He eventually attack Jack's home and destroyed it, enslaving it's inhabitants in the process. After years of training, Jack returned and challenged Aku with his fathers sword. After a fierce battle, Aku relized he couldn't defeat Jack and used his powers to send him to the future. Now Aku is the current ruler of Earth but still attempts and fails to destroy Samurai Jack.
