Although I am the admin for SNK wiki, I do not consider myself an expert on KOF characters' movesets or fighting styles. I'm more of a lore fanatic and pay attention to the stories and character arcs. Since I do not feel qualified, I must decline your invitation but thanks for bringing it to my attention and will try to advertise it on the wiki to those who might be interested. On the other hand, I will point out a mistake I saw in the character line up though. God Rugal is a character exclusive to the Capcom vs SNK series. But, I am pretty fluent in the MK universe. SO here's my logic for why Scorpion would com eout on top.
Major reasoning suggests this, because Scorpion is one of the most powerful kharacters in the MK roster, his devestatign rope-dart move will hit, and lead to an easy free attack, rounding out punishign combos, devestating uppercuts, or slashes from the Mugai-Ryu.
He has teleportation abilities, which he can vanish into smoke, and come from behind and knock an opponent into the skies. He can summon teh very flames of hell to erupt and torch the opponent in battle, even.
Plus, Scorpion is hell-bent on revenge, he cannot be killed easily, and not only that, the hellspecter will not stay dead. He has emerged from the Netherrealm after death about 3 times, after being first killed by the elder Sub-Zero (Noob Saibot), and thrown into a soulnado, which rips apart specters, such as him), by the deadly alliance.
And the ANnhilation Fatality... it's so devestatign, they couldn't show what actually happens. just a load of Shirai-Ryu members massacring their foe... it's awesome. AnnhilationNation

I wouldn't really call myself an expert for either of these franchises... It's been awhile since I seriously played SNK games in general so I have a sorely outdated perception of these characters. But I can suggest a few, meager suggestions for the character line up for KOF.
- God Rugal is technically from Capcom vs SNK 2 and never actually appeared in the KOF series. Omega Rugal did, but I don't think he's a very worthy entry since I didn't really have that much trouble against him... I suggest someone who's more infamous for being a total cheat such as Igniz, Shinobu, or Magaki.
- Kula has a typo for her name.
- Should we really include SNK characters who originated from other franchises with this match up? There are a lot of characters who are just made for KOF too. It feels weird to see Fatal Fury in there, even if it does show up in KOF. Why not make this purely KOF characters?
- Is Sonya Blade someone from the military? If so, Leona would be a better choice than Vice.
- I don't know anything about Mortal Kombat so I visited their wiki really quick. Based on personality and abilities, Mileena would be better matched with Vice than Athena. Shermie/Orochi Shermie are okay choices too.
- Rain and Maxima are a really weird match up. Why not pit Rain against KOF's version of a weather maker, Goenitz?
- If there's someone who uses illusions in Mortal Kombat, pit them against Chizuru.
- Jax, even though he's pro American and such, doesn't really match up with Terry well. Ralf or Clark sounds a little more natural, even if they didn't originate from KOF.
- Kabal sounds a little too noble and supernatural to be a good match for a psycho yakuza. K9999, Nameless, Lin, or Duo Lon are better choices for the unknown warrior image from KOF. If you must need someone with a mask, there's also Jyazu, but he didn't really originate from KOF.
- If there's anyone who is a normal person but is still ridiculously strong without any super powers or whatever in Mortal Kombat, pit them against Shingo Yabuki.
- Angel and Vanessa are fan favorites for fast, tricky characters who can make enormous combos with their kicks and punches alone. If there's anyone like that in Mortal Kombat, pit them against one of them.
- You should probably specify what style Kyo's going to use in this. His KOF '94 movesets kinda horrible in comparison to his later years, and he has changed his fighting style at least three times already.

- Sorry, I'll pass on that offer. Like I said, my knowledge of KOF is sorely outdated. Everyone's either going crazy over the "godly" remake KOF 2002 UM or the newest KOF XIII. I've barely played KOF 1998 UM, skipped KOF 2002 -the KOF most fans rave over-, played a little of KOF 2003, and barely skimmed the surface of KOF XI. KOF XII is still a completely unknown beast to me. I used to frequently play KOF '95~KOF '99, but that stuff's over ten years old! I know the stories, personalities, and their movesets, but I can't right out say with greatest confidence that I'm an "expert" for the series when I haven't personally played through all of the games and spent time mastering every character. So I don't think I'm justly qualified for what you're aiming for.

- For #10, I'd suggest Jackson Briggs, since hsi main powers is his cyberkinectically enhances arms. The onyl real magic attack he has is the ground pound tremor move.
- And for #9, Kabal was a good guy in his debut, but on Deception, he was converted to an anarchistic state of mind, thanks to Havik. And yes, SOnya and Jax are both Military, as part of the OIS (Outworld Investigation Service) AnnhilationNation

Kuai Liang, AKA Younger Sub-Zero, who was born into a group of Cryomancers, and learned the arts to control ice. As Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei, he holds the dragon medallion, which further enhances his freezing abilities, making him even stronger.
His special moves are the Kori Blade, which is a long sword made of ice, that is still razor sharp. And if it was ever broken, he can simply create another one, with the water vapor in the air.
The Ice Clone, which creates a clone of himself, which is freeze the opponent who touches it, and allows him some free hits.
The Ice Grenade, which is liek teh ball, but instead of freezing the opponent, it lodges in them, and explodes, sending deadly ice shards through them (was a fatality in MK 2)
Finally, teh full body freeze, where he would grab his opponent, and fully freeze teh skeleton, and all organs, then lift them above hsi head and then smash them to teh ground, where tehy turn into tiny chunks.

Okay, revising SUbby, same intro but...
Ice Freeze, he fires a white ball projectile, which can temporarily freeze his opponent, and allow him to unleash a viciosu combo with relative ease.
And the Cold Shoulder and Ice Slide is essentially the same thing, as both allow him to propel himself at rapid speeds towards his opponent, allowign one to attack high or low and cause great damage.
Finally, the full body freeze overhead smash, same as when I described it earlier.

Ugh, this never lets me leave a header. But out of your theory on popularity shouldn't always win, I think Kitana will be one of the best candidates.
And on special attacks, you gotta go old school with the kiss of death. That's been her move since her debut.
Princess Kitana, of Edenia, is 10,000 years old, but appears in her mid-twenties, due to an extremely long life-span of the Edenian people. Being that she is the stepdaughter of Shao Kahn, she is a natural military leader, as she freed her realm from Outworld forces.
The Fan Lift, is essentially what it says, It's an anti-aireal attack, which levitates the foe up with gusts from her steel fans. It makes teh foe fly helplessly in teh air, which allows her to set up for juggles.
The Squarewave Punch... It is also an anti-aireal attack, where she jumps into teh air, and flies in with a powerful punch. The downside to the move, is that the only way to land it, is with either good reflexes, or stunning the foe with the Fan Lift.
Pretty Kick: A more effective move than the SWP, as it can hit a foe on the ground, or in the air, as Kitana has some light levitation, while kicking the foe in the head three times.
Kiss of Death: Kitana's signature fatality, where she unveils her mask, and then kisses the opponent on the cheek. They expand to abnormal sizes, and explode from over-stretching.

This is possibly one of my favorite matches to date, as two ladies of royalty, who bore arms to fight for their country meet and face each other to the death, as Hildegard Von Krone, of the German Wolfkrone kingdom, faces Eowyn, who is a noblewoman of Rohan, who fought the invading forces of Minas Tirith along with the Rohirrim. This one might be tougher, since Mileena is Half Tarkatan (which are the really badass species that Baraka is)
Mileena is a clone of the Princess of Edenia, Kitana. She was created by Shang Tsung's flesh pits for Shao Kahn, with half Tarkatan blood, but still with the same about to killing lust. Her one desire is to kill her "sister" and take over the throne of Edenia, and the opportunistic she-devil would use any opportunity. She mainly served as Shao Kahn's personal assassin.
Personally, since Mileena has a lack of special moves, and since I don't have MK 2011 yet (though will when it comes out) I'd still give her the charged Sai Attack instead of teh face gnaw, unless Vice has nothing long range to retaliate with. But...
Mileena's Sky Kick results in her dropping from the floor, looking to disappear, then emerging from teh skies, to deliver a punishing kick to the opponent's face.
Rolling Thunder is a powerful sweep attack, in which she rolls into a ball, and somersaults at rapid speed, tripping up the opponent and dealing major damage.
The Face Gnaw is simple. Mileena lunges at her opponent and then gnaws at their face or neck with her Tarkatan teeth.
Her most potent move, and most well known is the Man-Eater. It's similar to the Kiss Of Death, where it has to be in close proximity, but instead of a kiss, she inhales the entire opponent's body, and then regurgitates their bones, swallowing them whole.

The Walking Dead Gang's weapons:
Short range: Colt Python
Mid Range: Mossberg 590 and M4A1 Carbine
Long Range: Browning Automatic Rifle Safari
Melee Weapons: Fire Axe
My Debate:
The survivors from the massive zombie invasion of America are proven warriors compared to the undead hunters from High School of the Dead. Why? They're pretty much all teenagers. The Walking Dead Gang are comprised of men and women who were trained or have fired weapons to kill or hunt. Whether its sheriffs, gang members, or National Guardsmen, the true firearms skill of the survivors will lead them to victory. They are literally surrounded by zombies, one gunshot will attract the attention of hundreds of zombies. It seems that teamwork is not part of the high-schoolers vocabulary. It seems they are constantly going their own way. For the survivors, life is only kept safe through the aid of others. Teamwork is a key part of allowing the Walking Dead Gang to survive. Utilizing training from Rick Grimes, a veteran deputy, the Gang will be able to stop any hoard of zombies thrown at them.
About the weapons:
- The Colt Python is a lethal, 6-shot, .357 Magnum revolver. It is the signature weapon of Rick Grimes, the Gang's leader. However, it can be used by all. Capable of blowing the heads off of more than one zombie. The supreme fire-power of the weapon can easily send the bullet at least through three unlucky undead walkers.
- The Mossberg 590 is a lightweight shotgun capable of holding 8 shells. It has an effective range of 40 meters and is the primary shotgun of the US Army. You know it can easily kick-ass if our brave men and women overseas are using this weapon to clear rooms and eliminate the opposing force.
- The M4A1 Carbine is a lethal, 5.56x45mm NATO firing, death-machine. Its top rate of fire is a whopping 950 rounds per minute and has an effective range of 500 meters. It's both a man-killer and zombie annihilator.
- The Browning Automatic Rifle Safari is a hunting variant of the Browning Automatic Rifle. It can fire at a great distance; approximately 1600 meters in range! Take off the scope and you now have a lethal, semi-auto rife capable of medium range combat.
- The Fire Axe is your typical fire axe. However, in the hands of someone who is determined to live, it becomes a deliverer of death. It can maim and can tear the flesh of any living thing.

Thsi might not be a particularly great idea, since my variant had guns he was using in hsi Twisted Metal Endings. But Needles Kane from Twisted Metal: Black is a force to be reckoned with. He's ugly, but incredibly strong, he is intelligent when he's Marcus Kane, but has a bloodthirsty raging force when he is Needles. Check out his Video Bio, and it should give you a rather chilling idea of what he's like.

Now that I think about it, I know the perfect team to put them up against: Bloodstone's Monster Hunters. These guys are basically Marvel's version of the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and fought the monsters of Marvel's early Silver Age, like Fin Fang Foom, Grottu, and the other monsters I suggested. Take a look at these guys:
Ulysses Bloodstone, the immortal monster slayer;
Dr. Druid, a sorcerer trained by Dr. Strange's mentor, the Ancient One;
Makkari, a member of the god-like Eternals;
and Namora, cousin of Prince Namor, the Sub-Mariner

The main problem is that I'm first and foremost a Marvel guy, with growing knowledge of DC. I have a little knowledge about Image and Vertigo, but that's about it. I simply don't know enough about the team you are putting forward to champion them in a bout.

Rodan vs. Gyaos fightEdit
Here's the fight Ii wrote!
Deep within Monster Island, a herd of deer are grazing with a large, old stag watching out for danger. Suddenly, they hear a loud roar in the distance, growing louder and louder. Frightened, the deer stampede. Suddenly, Super Gyaos flyes over them and grabs the old stag, carrying him to a spot where no other predator will follow. Gyaos rips the the deer's stomach out, blood dripping down his mouth, and starts gorging. Because of competition from the other monsters on the island as well as the animal's migrations, he was unable to find good food in 2 months. Now that he has found the deer, he is enjoying himself. Unaware to him, he has attracted the unwanted attention of another monster....
Fire Rodan comes out his volcano, also starving. The migrations have also greatly affected him. He sees Gyaos feeding on the deer and decides to steal it. The two sky kings both meet and lock eyes. Neither are in the best condition for combat, but they are powered by their need to eat. With no food, they will die. They are willing to kill each other for food. The battle for the survival of the fittest is about to unfold.
They both raise their wings to look bigger than they really are and roar as loudly as they can, hoping that one of them will run. Even though Rodan sees that Gyaos is way larger, he is still confident that he can take this meal. Rodan pretends that he is giving up and flys off while Gyaos begins to mock him. Gyaos returns to eating, unaware that Rodan is flying behind him. Rodan plows right into Gyaos' back, throwing him to the ground. Agitated, Gyaos also takes off, hoping to kill Rodan so that he may eat in peace. He chases the Pterosaur, catching up to him due to his faster flying speed. Rodan turns to try and do an attack, but Gyaos releases his gas, blinding Rodan. As Rodan tries to come to his senses, Gyaos flys behind him, bites him on his wing and throws Rodan to the ground. Rodan roars in terror and pain as he falls and he eventually hits the ground. Gyaos runs in and grabs Rodan by the neck, hurling him across the ground. Rodan fires his uranium heat beam at Gyaos' face, but he shakes off the pain. Gyaos fires his sonic beam and almost cuts Rodan in half. Badly injured, Rodan doesn't have the strenght to fight back. Gyaos prepare to fires another beam when suddenly, Rodan begins to absorb nearby animals. Fully healed, Rodan fires a an even more powerful uranium heat beam at Gyaos. Gyaos tries to shake it off, but is soon tackled to the ground by Rodan. Rodan then jumps on Gyaos and begins to peck him repeatly, until he has hit his jugular vein. Rodan roars in victory, and then begins to eat his dead opponent.
Winner: Fire Rodan
Even though Super Gyaos' larger size and faster flying speed gave him an edge, Rodan's ability to heal himself meant he could take continued punishment before laying the final blow.

My vote for kenpachi:
His skin is impenatrable unless your weapon is infused with spiritual pressure, which Wolverine's claws aren't. He can move faster than the eye can see. He is incredibely skilled in swordsmanship, and even if wolverine did manage to hit him, he can take one hell of a beating. He has been stabbed through the chest at least four times in the bleach series, in the span of two battles. He survived both.

Hello all Administrators!
Well, I know I have no authority to impose anything, so I'd like to know what you guys think about Battlefield Copyrights, because I have noticed that when some users put up a list of their future battles to come, some other user takes that battle for his own and often later down the line we have a repeat of that same battle.
So to avoid things like that, do you think that maybe the users who have come up with the battle idea themselves should have the right to keep that battle from being used by someone else prior to their posting of it? I know that I'd be upset if that happened to me and I have a new season coming up soon.
I think it'd be beneficial to everyone in the Wiki, keeping things friendly and letting creativity spill a little more freely around here. Please get back to me about this!

Yeah, I watched the playthrough of the visual novel on Youtube, which, given the visual novel format, gives you the same experience, minus the 18+ scenes, which weren't any loss to the story.
Anyway, is there any particular time you want to start this match or should I go ahead and make the match page. There is also the issue of whose style to use. SPARTAN 119 03:57, October 13, 2011 (UTC)
Weapons: Fuminori used two weapons in his killings, a butcher's knife with about an eight to ten inch blade. Fuminori later purchases an axe with a 1 meter handle, which he uses in the final battle of the visual novel.
Unarmed Combat: Fuminori isn't really trained in unarmed combat, using a weapon in the fights in the visual novel. He could pull off a decent punch or kick, but probably not anything to fancy.
MO: Fuminori will violently attack his targets without mercy, brutally hacking them apart with repeated strikes. He relies on the fact that his delusions make him see humans as monsters to kill without second thought.
As far as making this a fairer fight, seeing as Fuminori has no real unarmed combat training, I'm assuming he's going to have the axe as well as the knife (although as a Saeko learned, a larger weapon isn't always enough.) SPARTAN 119 04:00, October 14, 2011 (UTC)
Varies based on ending, at most, actually only two, and one in the final fight, only seconds before Fuminori's own death, with one (possibly two) more killed by Saya, and and two killed by Fuminori's neighbors, who Saya brain damaged in a similar manner to Fuminori as an experiment (Saya can rearrange the cells any living organism, including humans), he saw his family as monsters and killed them, then, when he met Saya, who told him what she had done, he attacked her, and Fuminori killed him. Also, there was one who was not killed, but Saya converted him into one of "her" species.
But I'm assuming Dexter (at least initially) won't know about Saya in this battle, so he would probably assume Fuminori killed all five (not counting the one he kills in the final fight).

Also, in the battle vs Rena, I "nerfed" Saya's regenerative abilities a bit (so it takes her longer to regenerate), feel free to do the same in this battle, if you want Dexter to see Saya, who's true appearance is assumed to be similar to what Fuminori sees humans as, a roughly human-sized tentacled monster with an amorphous body, crawls on the ground on a trail of mucus, like a slug. Has sharp claws and/or teeth capable of eviscerating a human.

Okay, I just put the game in my PSP last night, and luckily I-No was avalible from the get-go. She is really easy to do some killer combos with, especially with her great speed from her dash attacks, such as Sultry Preformance, as well as strong punishing moves, and other magic based moves from her guitar. Compared to Lord Raptor, she's a throughbred compared to a packmule when it comes to speed.
Also, she has time traveling abilities, which she doesn't use often, since it's quite difficult, however, she has that power to escape to the past, or future, to fight another day.

A match I had planned that maybe I could add to your Type-Moon versus series, and in celebration of the recent release of Fate/Zero: Mattias Nilsson and Jennifer Mui (Mercenaries) vs Kiritsugu Emiya and Maiya Hisau (Fate/Zero).
Note that in Mattias and Jen vs Kiritsugu and Maiya, Kiritsugu will NOT be allowed to use any magical abilities (Saber, the insta heal ablity associated with her scabbard, time manipulation, reinforcement sorcery etc).

I belive you were thinking of Shirou Emiya, not Kiritsugu. Kiritsugu is the guy who adopted Shirou and does not have a sword spam ability, instead using a magical gun (the only magic he will be allowed to use in the fight) and a number of more conventional firearms.
As per the rules, Kiritsugu prior to summoning Saber would be an even match for Mattias as due to complications, mostly relating to his time manipulation magic being too excruciatingly, cripplingly painful to use for more than a second, his time manipulation sorcery would be useless without the lol damage immunity that comes free with Saber (or her scabbard anyway).
Time manipulation is the issue as to why I must nerf Kiritsugu, note that I also nerfed Akemi Homura's time manipulation powers, because otherwise, a character with the power to time travel could just pause time and kill a character while they are unable to move, or travel back in time and kill their opponent when they were still a child, or for that matter, kill their opponent's parents, effectively causing them to cease to exists.

Not that familiar with American comics, but if you can find someone to take on Shiki Ryougi or Asagami Fujino of Kara No Kyoukai. I'm more familiar with KnK than a Nasu's later works.
Also, for your comics vs anime, how about Chise of Saikano vs Iron Man or War Machine. For basics, her are Chise's abilities: flight, extremely durable, borders on indestructible. Cybernetic weapons including an arm gatling gun, missiles which she can fire out of her back, an arm-laser weapon, and the ability to spontaneously generate nuclear-level explosions. I would be willing to slightly nerf Chise stopping her from using her "nuking" ability (she doesn't get that until later in the series). Also, as for Chise's survivability, she survives pretty much any conventional weapon, from bullets to air-launched missiles, though she does scream in pain when struck by a SAM and her wings get damaged at one point, suggesting she can be killed if hit with enough force (possibly a nuke, which, for some reason, the enemy never uses, in spite of it being the only thing that might even have a chance of harming her).

For those not in the know at least about Eternal Darkness (and especially with both series), you might have some idea how I came up with this match. One of the central plot devices of Eternal is a book called the Tome of Eternal Darkness (I wonder if that might be evil!?). Now, unfortunately, I couldn't make this a fight between the Tome of Eternal Darkness and the Book of Darkness, because the Tome, unlike the Book of Darkness, does not have a powerful humanoid "will". So, I used on the Lovecraftian horrors associated with the Tome of Eternal Darkness, so without further ado:
Ulyaoth, the mysterious, giant, cnidarian-like monstrosity with powerful magic, that predates the human race, and intends to destroy them and take their place.

Conan the Barbarian vs Kenshin Himura rematch? Edit
Hiya Pach. I recently came across a rather old battle of yours, Conan the Barbarian vs Kenshin Himura. In the blog post, you really didn't provide much information on either of the warriors. Having watched Rurouni Kenshin on Tonami when it aired, I can say that Kenshin should have won. Conan is good, but not as good as Kenshin. Secondly, pretty much everyone who voted for Conan admitted that they either knew little about either warriors, or nothing about Kenshin, voting for Conan only because he looked more badass. I really think that this fight is worthy of a re-match. Kenshin really wasn't given a fair chance. Would it be okay with you if I did a rematch? I will DEFINITELY do a significant amount of research on both of these warriors before making a blog post, as it's one of my rules to NEVER enter a warrior into a fight that you really don't know a lot about.

Properly setting up a page Edit
Hi Pach. Lately, whenever I have free time, I've been wanting to improve any page I can find. I haven't gotten real far in this, but I just want to say it annoys me how many poorly organized pages there are. There are some things that I think make a page better that I've been doing that are not made clear in the warrior page criteria:
1) Making sure that the warrior has an infobox
2) Making sure that all of that warrior's valid fights are mentioned in the battle status
3) Making sure that all of that warrior's battles are on the page. While doing so, I give the battle its own heading number two, give the loadout for that battle its own heading number three, give the battle itself its own heading number three, and give the expert's opinion its own heading number three. And I give the main heading Text like this:
With a link to both the opponent and the author of the battle.
4) Also, when I update battle status', I like to put the victories first, the ties next, then the losses, and then the eventual fights.
Now, the reason I'm messaging you is because some of these things aren't really defined in any of the policies. It would be kinda nice if we had some defined rules for it. Cause I want to make sure that I'm not making the wrong edits to all of these pages. I'm not saying that I want to force users to go to these great lengths to perfect every page that is made, but so that those like me who are real sticklers when it comes to making sure the page is set up correctly, it will be known what the absolute proper way is. Like, what is the absolute most proper way of listing the warriors in somenoe's battle status? Does the Victory track go first, the tie track next, then the losses, then the eventual fights? How do I arrange the order of the listing of the warriors in each track? Should I do it alphebetically? I know you said that I can do it however I want to, but I think there should be a proper way that isn't forced on people, but that we can go by if we want to do it "By the book," Personally, I think the warrior page criteria isn't quite specific enough in certain areas. Also, what about the order of listing the battles on each page? Do those go by author? By publishing date? By opponent name? What's your take on the whole idea of defining these proper techniques that won't be forced on anyone, but that people will be able to reference to if they want to thoroughly do it properly?

About the Kenshin vs Conan rematch Edit
Hey. Um. I started paying a bit more attention to the original Kenshin Himura vs. Conan the Barbarian, and realized that you were matching up their manga/comic book counterparts... Not their movie or anime adaptations. Seeing that you were matching up those versions of them, it's entirely possible that you were correct in saying Conan deserved the win more than Kenshin, knowing the unbiased user you are, and that the manga version of Kenshin did not have the super human speed that the anime version did that would easily give him the win over Conan who does not. That said, I'm thinking that maybe Kenshin should have separate pages for his manga and anime adaptations, and leave that battle status of the manga version as it is. Furthermore, I don't think I want to do the Kenshin vs. Conan rematch anymore, and will instead have my Kenshin battle be Kenshin Himura (Anime) vs. Samurai Jack. What's your opinion?

More on properly setting up a page Edit
So, you answered most of my questions before. But there's still a few things I want straightened out. First off, should the heading of each battle listed on a warrior's page be:
1) The battle against Warrior 2 (by WikiUser)
2) The battle vs. Warrior 2 (by WikiUser)
3) Battle against Warrior 2 (by WikiUser)
or,
4) Battle vs. Warrior 2 (by WikiUser)
Please don't tell me it doesn't matter which one I do. I think there should be one specific one that is the standard. Things like this should be consistent throughout a wiki in my opinion. It really annoys me how inconsistent this always is. Often times even within the same page. My personal preference is number four, but maybe the admins can decide on that.
The other thing I want to clarify is what the exact proper way is to to the winner text. Should it be:
1) Winner Warrior 1
2) Winner: Warrior 1
3) Winner- Warrior 1
There are tons of combinations with different capitalization, boldening, and italicizing, and underlining. The way I've done it for my battles, and done it to the battle on every page I've edited, is do it like this:
WINNER: WARRIOR 1
Please don't tell me it doesn't matter what you do. I think that there should be some standard, because it really annoys me to see all of these inconsistencies.
On another note, I have an idea for something to possibly implement into the wiki. Often times, people make a battle, announce the winner, and say "Bluh, I'm too lazy to write a battle." The reason I'm doing my upcoming John Rambo vs. Duke Nukem rematch is not because I disagree with the outcome, but because I want to write a battle. Since the fight without a battle thing happens so much, you might want to consider implementing a rule that allows a user to write a battle in response to someone else's blog post under certain circumstances. If you decide to allow this, then we'd also need to figure out whose username you'd put in the parenthesis next to the title on the warrior pages. And if we do get this going, then I'll want to just go ahead and write a battle between Duke Nukem an John Rambo instead of doing a rematch. I'm wanting to say that CuchulainSetanta did this once. I saw a blog post for the battle by another user, and he never wrote a battle. And my first impression was that he had done a rematch, but I found no such blog post.
Another slightly related issue I want to address is battles whose victors are clear, but whose battles are poorly written, and make the loser die too soon by something really simple that they could have easily counteracted, or simply just defeated in an anticlimactic manner. Take Voldemort vs. Gandlf, for example. It is quite clear that Gandalf is the deadlier warrior, but the battle was pathetic. Everyone except for the victor was basically killed in a second. And if Voldemort was going to be defeated, which he would be if he fought Gandalf, it would definitely not be by falling to his death, because Voldemort can easily fly. There's a similar situation in Voldemort's battle vs Saruman. The Battle in general leading up to the end was barely passable, and Saruman was the deadlier warrior, but Voldemort wasn't going to just go down like that. If he were coming to the ground like that, he could have performed an aresto momento charm, and kept the battle going much longer. And of course Voldemort has telekinesis too. Any chance of implementing a rule that allows a user under certain circumstances to rewrite the battle so long as it does not demonstrate biastness, and the victor does not change?
So, please take this all into consideration.

A huge misunderstanding regarding my edit on the battle policy Edit
Hey there. I believe there has been a huge misunderstanding regarding the edit I made to the battle policy.
Here's what I said on chat before making that revision to the battle policy:

So then I added this to the battle policy:

Which pretty much is the rule that Las and Drayco agreed to. The rule directly above it still states that the author is allowed to choose a warrior if it ends in a tie, provided that the author didn't place his own vote.

Additional policy suggestions Edit

I've thought of a few more suggestions for additions to this wiki's policy to handle certain things that haven't really been dealt with on this wiki that I feel should be. Leo's policy update blog is kinda old, so I thought I'd just leave it on a beuro's talk page instead. My concerns stand thus:
- Defining what matchups are allowed- I think there should be a rule saying that warriors who have canonically fought each other should not be allowed to be pitted against each other in a battle on this wiki. I.E., Luke Skywalker vs. Darth Vader, or Predators vs. Xenomorphs would both be illegal matchups. Even if they canonically fought and there was no victor, I think this rule should still apply, so that matchups like Samurai Jack vs Aku would be illegal as well. I know that following this may seem like common sense for the most part, but there have been rare instances in which a user does not have this logical train of thought, and makes such a blog post. Fortunately, for that rare instance in particular, the blog post did not have its battle completed, but the fact still remains; battles of that nature should be deemed illegal, and people should be able to tell him he's not doing a valid matchup in the event that the blog post doesn't readily get abandoned like that, and delete the blog post. On a similar note, I think matchups pitting canonical allies against each other should be illegal as well. I. E., Batman vs. Robin would be an illegal matchup because they fight alongside each other within the same universe, and doing that on this wiki is just silly. Again, this may seem silly to enforce this rule as it seems like it would be common sense for the user to follow this, but there have also been rare instances facing us with this dilemma as well. Now here's what I'm not saying: I am not saying that characters from the same universe shouldn't necessarily fight each other. I. E., Yoda vs. Darth Vader, Qui-Gon Jinn vs. Darth Vader, and Boba Fett vs. Tyber Zann are okay in my opinion. Darth Vader and Yoda canonically met and talked with each other, but they never fought, so I think the matchup should be okay. The same thing goes for Qui-Gon Jinn vs. Darth Vader. And Tyber Zann and Boba Fett never met to my awareness and they're from the same universe, so I'm not saying I think matchups like that should be illegal on this wiki.
- Keeping unfair battles from plaguing this wiki- I know that there is already a rule against doing unfair battles, but I'm going to be a bit blunt here- The admins have been doing a crappy job of enforcing this policy. This wiki needs a good system of defense against lopsided battles that can easily be caught, judged upon, and deleted if unfair. Lately when I've seen an unfair battle, there are at least three users telling the author that said battle is unfair, then the author still continues on with the battle because he has faith in the matchup despite these people telling him it's unfair, no admin closes it down, and the battle gets done, and the battle goes on the statuses of the warriors. Blackwargreymon vs. Agent Texas, Vegeta vs. Iron Man, and Voldemort vs. Magneto all three have a few things in common. What are those things? Here's what they are:
- They are all three lopsided battles in my personal opinion
- Each one had at least three users telling the author it's a lopsided battle.
- All three of those battles went on the battle statuses of the respective contestants, and no admins closed them down despite the complaints from regular users.
Those three battles went through, and they should not have in my opinion, and in some other users' opinions as well. Those battles are living examples of why this wiki needs an effective method of keeping future lopsided battles from coming to fruition. That's why I though of this: I think there should be a rule saying that if three users have the opinion that said battle is unfair, an admin is to delete the blog post unless the supporters of deleting it are met with a rebuttal of users who think it isn't a lopsided battle. Just a suggestion of mine. If you or the other admins have better ideas, then whatever. But the point is this wiki needs an effective defense against lopsided battles.
- Battles that were unfair, but have already gone through- I know that when I made brief mention of this idea on the blog post for Magneto vs. Voldemort, it became the straw that broke the camel's back for my vandalism warning from Leo, but I'm going to state in it's full glory what I think should be done on account of lopsided battles that have gone through. This is what I believe should be done for making this wiki better, and it is my opinion. If you or any of the other admins shoot down this idea, then I will not moan about it any more. I think there should be a blog post featuring a lopsided battle cleanup where users address all of the lopsided battles that have taken place on this wiki. Each battle must get three supporters of having it removed, and once a list of battles that are declared unfair has been accumulated, all of those battles will be removed from the pages of the respective warriors. The reason I think Leo apparently didn't like about the nutshell description of it was because this would involve removing the author's (hard) work on that battle. We had a similar dilemma with rematches- The original author's hard work would all go to waste. I used to use the justification for this that any battle that needed redoing was due to the author's ignorance/bias, and not doing a good job of representing the warriors, and that the author therefore has to suffer the consequences of doing a battle in a lazy/biased manner. But then I looked at battles like Optimus Prime (G1) vs. Optimus Prime (Movieverse) and Rick O'Connell vs. Indiana Jones. Both of them are being redone, but neither author did anything to rig the battle for the wrong victor, and the former was really, really well-written. And therefore it would be a shame do do away with those battles. For rematches a solution was found by only having the results of the rematch on the status, and having both simulations on the page. I'm not sure how well this would work if we were to do away with lopsided battles. At first it was my belief that since matchups are done deliberately by the user, it's really his/her fault for doing a poor matchup, and that that battle should therefore be subject to deletion as consequences for the author's incompetence. But then I looked at what generated the matchup Iron Man vs. Vegeta. There are these nostalgia tournaments going on that can cause some really wacky matchups, and some user might volunteer to do that battle. In which case it might not necessarily be the author's fault for the unfair matchup. I still stand by the belief that something should be done about lopsided battles that went through despite the complaints of other users.

Sorry to add to the chainmail however we appear to have had an incident arise on in the chat today. When I arrived I saw that FutureSOFMedic told you to 'shut up':

When I arrived a confronted him and we debated for a while, during the debate he was very hostile and abusive. He claimed that you had provoked the situation and only when I told him he was commenting on old battles that he did understand, and even then he proceeded to insult you:

This is ShaolinTiger86. I'm recently new to this wikia and I love this site. I've been meaning to put up some battles right away but may not have the time to do so. The ones I have right now in the books are Kilik vs. Siegfried, Xianghua vs. Sun Shang Xiang, and a possible match featuring Black Dynamite. In addition to writing dream battles, I will alos continue contributing to this site by adding more warriors/fighters here. Sounds like it could work. Only thing I could think of is that I don't think (only saw the first Dirty Harry, so this is based on his page) Harry uses an automatic weapon. Takano does. However this could offset by the fact that Callahan is a better shot.

I decided to leave the writing of prologue of my Dexter vs Yuno battle.
The idea:
- Yuno and Yuki is in Miami.
- The Diary Holder Survival Game never happened, so Yuno and Yuki won't have their Future Diary with them.
- Dexter is stalking Yuno, trying to get to know about her, while also connecting her murders in Miami with the ones she committed in her hometown Sakurami.
- Yuno's victims in Sakurami are:
- Serial killer named Takao Hiyama
- Five-year old kid named Reisuke Houjou (strangled and stabbed in the chest with the knife, because Reisuke plays the harmless but annoying pranks on Yuki)
- A dog breeder named Karyuudo Tsukishima
- An orphanage director named Kamado Ueshita
- An atheist terrorist named Minene Uryu (killed by Yuno, during her attack on Yuno and Yuki's school)
- A Chief Detective of Sakurami Police Department named Keigo Kurusu (killed while investigating Yuno's murders)
- The mayor of Sakurami named John Bacchus (Shot by Yuno, and this is why Yuno and Yuki ran away to Miami)

Hey Pach,
I really don't know any way to put this other than I'm sorry. I am so, so sorry.
It has been a year and almost two months since I asked you if I could rematch Kenshin Himura vs. Conan the Barbarian, and I still haven't even done the necessary research on Conan to be able to represent him. Since then, I've only gotten two battles done, and even those were rather few and far between. It's been nearly a year since I announced my last battle. Kenshin vs. Conan has been next in my queue for almost a year, and I'm sorry that I've been keeping you waiting that long, claiming that I'm still going to do it. Well, I'm sorry Pach, but I don't think I'm ever going to do it. In fact, I am right now signing off on doing it, and will before long amend my (still not even half complete after a year and a half) list of season 1 battles to reflect this.
Whenever I announce a blog post pitting two warriors against each other, I take having familiarity with both warriors in order to be able to properly represent them very seriously. And I just haven't had the drive to do that research on Conan, which is why it's been taking me so long, which is why I'm deciding that I'm just going to save myself the trouble and not do it.
I know that I said on chat that I was sinking down into a state of desperation low enough to want someone familiar with Conan to collab with me, but now at this point I simply altogether lost interest in it. I would still like to see it get redone due to the poor votes and age-old standards that battle meets, but it has now become clear to me that that task is not set for me, neither in whole nor in part.
Again, I give my sincerest apologies, and I hope that you are not too angry, though you do have a right to be. I feel that it is best that I do this, so that I can progress with my battles involving warriors with whom I am already familiar. I hope you understand. I have set a goal for myself to have the blog post for my next battle (Tails vs. Conker the Squirrel) up before the end of this month.
